MY CUZ, THE KING

My Cuz, the King is a comedy about how a social media movement inspires a new social identity, the #TransCelebrity. After waking from a childhood accident, Aaron Henare becomes the image of Elvis Presley in the sleepy town of Kawakawa, NZ.
That is.. until a young reporter, Britney breaks the story and the internet.
We see how an exploitative media feeds upon our unquenched thirst for celebrity worship, identity politics and social division. As to be expected, an entourage of misfits and groupies naturally leave a bad aftertaste.
Whilst Aaron can't help falling in love with his newfound fame, he succumbs to the excesses of celebrity - eerily following in the footsteps of his superstar namesake. And like his appetite, the town grows ever larger. A smorgasbord of lookalikes forces gentrification upon the locals -fracturing relationships within the meat and two veg community.
Behind the scenes, Steve, an employee of the local fish and chip shop  ‘Jailhouse Cod’, takes a sudden interest in Aaron and his family. With a remarkable resemblance to the King himself, he becomes the target of a crazy internet conspiracist in search of the real story.

WE'LL MEAT AGAIN

Imagine a world where seeing a ghost is not as crazy as encountering a 5G conspiracy theorist and where cats stalk their prey with a vicious hunger for human flesh in the pursuit of the perfect pie.
Inspired by a love of hilariously bad taxidermy puppetry and flaky pastry, We’ll Meat Again tells the story of a group of cosmopolitan housemates moving into a former bakery. The discovery of a secret recipe sets off a nightmarish chain of events as exploding dishes and blood red paw prints appear along with a presence - a ghostly owner with an intriguing past.
We sift through her tale of 1940s love and loss and the breaking down of racial barriers as a rolling soundtrack of 80s Ska, Reggae and Two-tone boils over.
Thanks to an eccentric yogi and his poor grasp of GCSE Latin, our protagonist is able to overcome her own pet peeves as she comes to rely on the help of a homeless veteran with a severe feline phobia.
In the final scene, the epic battle between the forces of good and meow-evil takes place. A glorious furry white whiskered angel appears to save them from certain doom as a modern day relationship blossoms - mirroring the past. The crazy cat lady can now be released from her earthly woe.
Dripping with sarcasm, irony and puns that are just as clawful as a terrifying encounter with a purring flea ridden marionette, our story is sure to evoke memories of Gremlins, Pet Semetary and Shaun of the dead.

HARSH REALM

In a world where the lines between reality and virtual existence are dangerously blurred, Harsh Realm dives headfirst into the absurd. Drawing inspiration from cyberpunk classics like Johnny Mnemonic, The Matrix, and Ready Player One, this razor-sharp comedy series reimagines the digital frontier—not as a battleground for survival, but as the ultimate stage for rock supremacy.

Set in a sleepy New Zealand suburb, Harsh Realm follows a mismatched group of musicians who log into a VR platform to compete in an online Battle of the Bands tournament. But this isn’t just any competition—it’s a glitch-ridden, hyper-stylized virtual universe filled with sentient amps, rhythm-powered drones, and algorithmic judges with questionable taste in music.

As the contestants chase fame, musical integrity, and the perfect guitar solo, they begin to question everything: What is real? What is simulated? And most importantly... why does the bass player keep respawning as a goat?

With its mix of sci-fi satire, heartfelt ensemble dynamics, and pixelated pandemonium, Harsh Realm is the virtual reality comedy we never knew we desperately needed. Plug in, tune up, and prepare for a musical journey through the digital absurd.
